On March 29, within the framework of the business program of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum 2019, NII KPU experts took part in the session "Smart City: Tasks 2019".
The smart city urbanization project started last year as part of the implementation of the National Digital Economy program and the Housing and Urban Environment national project. The introduction of innovative digital solutions to the urban infrastructure will improve the efficiency of urban management, reduce management costs and utilities, improve the environment, increase safety and ultimately make the city more comfortable and more attractive for citizens.
The session was opened by the head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia Vladimir Yakushev, he noted that the first step in the implementation of the project was the approval of the standard of the "Smart City" of Russia, which includes a set of activities in such areas as utilities, transport system, energy, security systems. A data bank has been created that includes more than 300 best practice solutions. In 2019, the regions should start the practical implementation of the project, all activities on the digitization of the urban economy should be completed before 2024.
In Krasnoyarsk Krai, Krasnoyarsk, Zheleznogorsk and Zelenogorsk became pilot cities for implementation of the project, agreements between representatives of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and heads of cities were signed at the forum.
The expert of the session was the Minister of Digital Development of the Krasnoyarsk Region Nikolay Raspopin “Krasnoyarsk Krai has a great potential for the development of the project. In connection with the World Winter Universiade 2019, a unique modern ICT infrastructure has been created in Krasnoyarsk, elements of the smart city are integrated into various spheres: transport, medical and others,” emphasized Raspopin.
