The Corporate and Project Management Research Institute is glad to announce that professor Veniamin Livschits has joined its experts.

Veniamin is a Candidate of Sciences in Engineering Science. He has a Ph.D. in Economics. He is a professor and a Meritorious Scientist of the Russian Federation, a recipient of the 1999 Russian Academy of Sciences Nemchinov Award in Economics, the 2008 Fedorenko International Fund for Economic Research Award for “An Outstanding Contribution to the Development of the Economic Sciences in Russia”.

Veniamin is an active member of several foreign and Russian scientific research associations and academies, the author of 425 academic works (including 15 monographs) on economics, transport, the energy industry, and mathematics. He has participated in the design and expert evaluation of about 50 projects – mainly in the fields of the development of the transport and energy complexes in the country, including those of the gas and oil industries.

Today Veniamin Livschits is the head of the laboratory for “The Systems Analysis of Efficiency Assessment of Investment Projects and Development Strategies of Natural Monopolies” at the Institute for Systems Analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), and of the laboratory for “The Efficiency Assessment of Investment Projects” at the Central Economic and Mathematical Institute of RAS. He is the head of the specialization in “Efficiency Assessment and Specialization of Investment Projects” at the Department of Innovation and High Technologies of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), and a professor of the Dubna International University for Nature, Society and Man and the Moscow International University.

Veniamin Livschits has been awarded the medal “For Labor Merit” by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR and the Academician Moiseev Silver Medal.
