On October, 28th CPMI Experts took part in the conference “Public-Private Partnerships in Russia-2014”, which was arranged by The Moscow Times.

In the session devoted to topical issues of implementation of public-private partnership with a presentation on "The main stages of preparation and implementation of PPP projects. Criterias of risk assessment models of partnership" the CPMI Chairman of the Expert Council om Investment, a member of the International Academy of Investments and Construction Economics, the International Academy of Informatization, Russian Academy of Transport, Professor Boris Volkov.

Professor Volkov told about approaches to the assessment the economic efficiency of PPP projects in the transport sector in view with emerging risks. Separately reporter focused on the need account in the calculation of the efficiency of such a thing as a "social efficiency" and the criteria on its calculation. Category of public performance was disclosed by B. Volkov on the example of the developed currently a priority project of building a high-speed highway "Moscow-Kazan", the implementation of which will reduce the travel time from the capital to Kazan from 8 to 4 hours. In general, experts SRI KPU noted high activity of participants in the discussion of the innovations of the federal law on concession agreements and the prospects for the adoption of the federal law on PPP basis.
