On March 29, as part of the business program of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum 2019, experts from the NII KPU took part in the road show of the Yenisei Siberia integrated investment project (KIP).

Within its framework, in particular, it is planned to create the Krasnoyarsk Digital Valley, as well as the third non-ferrous metallurgy center in Russia.

At the moment, 32 projects are already part of the I & C; the amount of investment in their implementation in 2019–2027 totals about two trillion rubles. About 70 thousand jobs will be created. Tax returns are projected at more than 600 billion rubles annually.

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss, noted that several days ago, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree that regulates work on investments, on federal and regional support for Yenisei Siberia.

On the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Tyva and Khakassia, projects will be launched in the field of energy production, metal processing, in the forest industry and the agro-industrial sector, new transport infrastructure facilities will appear. More than 60 companies take part in the implementation of instrumentation and control, including the world leaders in industrial products.

One of the most advanced is the project to create the Krasnoyarsk Digital Valley. It is aimed at creating conditions for the work of the best domestic IT companies, the development of Russian information technologies, the digitization of the Yenisei Siberian economy.

It is planned that it will incorporate the Universiade digital heritage, the resource potential of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center, the Siberian Federal University.

Krasnoyarsk has everything necessary for this: a system of training highly qualified personnel, large enterprises - potential customers, regional companies operating in the digital sphere.

More than 30 regional and federal IT companies and investors expressed their readiness to take part in the project. Among them - Asus, HP, Huawei and many others. The project will create up to five thousand new jobs, form the core of the professional IT community.

On the territory of Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Tyva, it is planned to create a third in Russia (after the Urals and Norilsk) scale centers of non-ferrous metallurgy based on unique platinum-copper-nickel and copper-molybdenum deposits.

Construction of enterprises will be carried out in the period 2021-2023. When reaching the design capacity, the volume of mining and processing of ore will be 44 million tons per year. As a result of the project implementation more than 4 thousand new jobs will be created.

The construction of the Boguchansky timber processing complex is planned. This is the largest investment project in the field of forest wealth development in Russia.

Production will be based on modern technologies taking into account the existing environmental safety requirements. When reaching the design capacity, the total output will be 830 thousand tons. As a result of the project, about 2,000 new jobs will be created.

A new generation pulp and paper mill will be built at the industrial site of Lesosibirsk LDK №1. They will process wood raw materials, produce cellulose and a wide range of other products.
